How long have you been rapping for?
Nearly 4 years now.
Where did your name come from?
I used to do grime and had the name Freezer because my delivery was ice cold, but people called me freeze for short, so when I started rapping I just decided to run with the name Freeze.
Who are your musical influences?
Me, myself and I
You’re releasing your mixtape; The Deep Freeze soon; everyone and their mum seem to be releasing mixtapes at the moment, what makes yours so different?
Not to sound too big headed, it's a work of art, a master piece, a classic if you will lol. Nah
seriously I've got tracks with proper concepts, I’ve got some very talented singers on the hooks, the production is upbeat, the recording quality is on point, and most importantly there isn’t another Freeze. So no one’s making music like me, my material is heartfelt.
Why are mixtapes so important to you as an artist, why did you feel the need to release one, why not just release an album or EP?
That's a good question. I feel a mixtape should take your fans on a journey, the same journey you’re on so that they get to know you and where you’re coming from and that's exactly what I've done with The Deep Freeze.
What inspires your music?
Everyday life, my surroundings and the world we live in.
There’s an increase in rappers now trying to sing on their tracks (although they’re clearly shit singers) would you ever make that crossover and try to sing your own hooks?
Lol I've got two tracks on my mixtape with a little singing vibe, I think you can try a ‘ting as long as it’s not over the top and not on every song you drop.
What’s your opinion on choreographed rappers, there seems to be an increasing amount of so called rappers doing real dance routines in their videos, if you got signed to a major and they wanted you to do this do you think you could happily dance around like you’re in a boyband?
Never in a million years! Artists that do that are called puppets.
R-Kelly and Jay Z teamed up to do ‘Best of both worlds’ if you could do the same 
thing & collaborate with an RnB artist on an album who would you choose?
I'm actually doing something similar at the moment with a UK reggae artist called Rastickz (@Rastickz) the movements called "2 Worldz Collide"
Do you think the area you live in influences your lyrics and if so do you not worry that ‘outsiders’may not get what you’re talking about?
I would say yes because I rap about what I see and hear in my area. But every area has problems and ups and downs; I think it's more down to how you break it down for everyone to understand you.
As a new artist, if you could support any rapper on tour who would it be?
I would have to say Nas as I've always listened to his music and he's a deep thinker just like me.
What’s next for you?
World domination, my second mixtape "Tales of theAbominable Snowman” and the branding of me, The Abominable Snow Man

RADANA
Making his first mixtape on his sister’s double sided cassette player, rapper RADANA was determined to get his music noticed and after his mixtape was circulated it did get noticed by an artist called Tricky. After recording some songs for Tricky, RADANA was then offered a place on his ‘13th’ tour in 2003, describing this moment as "One of the best feelings" RADANA got to perform in various countries including Germany, France, Spain, Belgium and the world famous Glastonbury Festival in the UK.
After calling it a day with Tricky, he then decided to build a simple little studio in his flat so he could continue to work on his music. Admitting he’s ‘no producer’ he still managed to release his first mixtape ‘Da Grind in Da Grind out’ in 2004 and although it was considered too hard for the commercial market it still received 3 and a half mics in the Don Diva magazine. He quickly followed this up with his 2nd mixtape ‘Da fire in da smoke’ then ‘5ive years early’ it was after this mixtape that Tricky made contact again to work on his unfinished album. Deciding to pass on working with Tricky again RADANA then began recording a 4th double CD mixtape with his new camp ‘Crow Squadronz’ simply called ‘E3’. Not content with one mixtape he simultaneously worked on his 5th one, the unreleased ‘The black project’
RADANA then went on to team up with singer/producer Lielic to make the track ‘Hey mama come ride with me’ which ended up being his first track to be listed on TV. Another solo mixtape was to follow; ‘Super League, the search for the goblin’ during this time RADANA felt he now had enough experience to build another studio and record and this 
was where Real Money Raps was born.
His new EP 'Real Money Raps Presents The White & Black Edition' is available now on free download and an album is expected this summer.
“This is the year I want to break through the scene, I'm coming!”
With his talent and work ethic, breaking though is gonna be no problem for this young man. The industry needs to watch out for RADANA.

At 17 tracks deep, ‘The Strangest Day’ is a collection of some of Kay 2 & The Strange Day’s best work to date. Comprised of abstract sampling, gentle guitar riffs, string sections and honest chorus lines, the mixtape takes listeners on a journey through British life viewed in the eyes of two music loving, weed smoking, thought consumed teenagers, who are just trying to make sense of ever present madness unravelling in front of their eyes.

Based around the 1866 Charles M. Barras musical The Black Crook, Rax's current project sees him release 1 new video every 2 weeks for 6 months.
His latest release Sweet Chin Music, sees Rax switch from the relaxed Hip Hop sound we heard on his previous releases to a harder more Grime delivery. Featuring Teddy Music's classic Wood Street instrumental, the video just consists of Rax, a couple of cameras and 2 minutes of original head nodding lyricism.
His first 3 videos from The Black Crook Project have already recieved over 60,000 views on Youtube and his 4th release looks set to be just as popular.

Why are mixtapes so important to you?
Because its a deep connection with fans & supporters. Mixtapes help to maintain a worldwide buzz & keep my audience occupied while I'm working on the album.
How do you decide what will go on your mixtapes?
I don't, I just record whatever I'm feeling on that day because mixtapes are just a bit of fun really.
What do you hope to achieve by releasing a mixtape?
As well as pleasing my current audience I'd like to achieve new listeners.
You've released 9 mixtapes so far, how do you make sure they're all different and don't sound the same?
On every mixtape there's growth, progression & the things I have encountered on my journey
How do you choose which songs you will release videos for? Or do you just choose you favorite song and make a video for it?
Its more to do with whichever tune gasses up who is in the studio with me to the point where they're like "You have to do a video for that one"
At the moment your mixtapes are free, but when you get signed to a major & get all famous, do you think you may then start charging for them?
No No Hell No NEVER will I charge for mixtapes, It's always to please & gain new fans so that when I release an album there's no complaints on buying it because I've already given so much free music out to the public.

Stealth MC
Originally from Nigeria, Stealth MCs journey began like most, with high school talent shows, rap battles and clashes on pirate radio stations. It wasn't until he left London for University in Bristol that Stealth began to really take his music seriously and released his critically acclaimed debut single Mothership which went on to very quickly sell out, which then led to him performing at the Ashton Court Festival, which was said to have been one of Britains largest free 2 day festivals.
After supporting well known artists such as Sway and Mark Ronson Stealth is even gaining recognition in countries as far as Japan as well as getting airplay on local radio stations including BBC Radio 1Xtra.
Criminal Connections is taken from his forthcoming mixtape Stealth Artois and features Hoodini & Young Tera from Footsoldiers NTL.

The talented Shaun White releases his latest mixtape, Hooks & Verses Vol 3. This mixtape features a lot of collaborations with UK artists including Johnny Gunz, Big Ven, Big Narstie and Craze 24 and is available to download now.
Although this track doesn't feature on the mixtape we couldn't write about Shaun and not post the Tribal Skank video, so enjoy :-)
