What exactly do you do?
Pon Di Scene TV was created to showcase Bajan talent, whether it be singing, dancing, anything that’s creative.
When did Pon Di Scene start?
It started in June 2010.
What made you want to start it?
It is the love for Bajan talent, that encouraged me to help show case it.
Why the name Pon Di Scene TV?
It is very simple; we are always Pon Di Scene where there is talent.
Was your idea an instant hit or did it take a while for people to see your vision?
It took a while but the public has now embraced our effort and work and they give us encouragement.
You go to a lot of events, are you always welcome or have you ever had trouble getting in before?
We are usually welcomed but we have experienced trouble getting into some events.
Do you find it hard getting people to talk to you on camera or are most people quite willing to be filmed?
Most people are willing to be filmed, but you can meet some people who are shy or have no interest in being on camera.
What has been the most interesting/entertaining event you’ve attended/filmed?
A recent event which featured Alison Hinds & Beenie Man, the show had a different type of energy and the acts had the crowd rocking from the beginning to the end.
What is next for Pon Di Scene TV?
A lot including the launch of our website.
