The Cashman

Originally from Brooklyn New York, Michael Howell aka The Cashman has come a long way in the world of urban music.
Starting his career in 1999 with the underground rap group The 718 he was able to perfect his production, song writing, engineering and rapping skills. 6 years later Cashman decided to go solo teaming up with small Bronx record label, BST records where he was not only an artist but a senior producer.
At the end of his contract in 2009 Cashman then decided to do things by himself and created his own production company called ‘The Cashman Production Team’ where he was able to produce tracks for various New York artists.
In 2011 he decided to leave the conventional ‘two turn tables and a mic’ for a live band experience and is currently on tour with his band in New York which has landed him immense critical acclaim for originality and bringing back the essence of music to a lack lustre urban scene.
